The Business Insider published a list of “18 Quick and Easy Daily Habits That Can Significantly Improve Your Life!” There were some good ideas on there, but these are a few of our favorite life hacks.
• Write down the day’s most important task.
Doing the most important (or most dreaded) task first thing in the morning gives you a feeling of accomplishment and clears your mind for the rest of the day.
• Make your bed.
Starting your day by finishing something and doing it well provides a small self-esteem boost early on. And when you come home tired from a long day at work, there will be nothing between you and a good night’s sleep.
• Express gratitude!
Even if you are feeling down in the dumps, there is a lot to be grateful for! This is easy to do and doesn’t need to cast anything. Find it and express it.
• Walk more.
Take the stairs, walk while on the phone, park further from the store than usual – there are many simple ways to incorporate more walking into your life.
• Dress slightly better than the occasion calls for.
You’ll feel good about yourself and stand out!
• Brush your teeth and floss!!
Brushing and flossing your teeth not only prevents gingivitis and tooth decay, but it can also save your life!
